Marian Bocek

Chairman of the Board

Marian has more than 15 years of global banking and investment experience. Marian is also the Co-Founder of IPM Group, an asset and wealth management company specialising in infrastructure and infrastructure technology companies (“Infratech”) with an investment team of more than 40 professionals from San Francisco, London, Bratislava, Hong Kong to Seoul, Korea. Under Marian’s leadership, IPM Group grew from zero to US$1bn AUM in assets under management across a portfolio of assets under management which he built in five years. There he plays a significant role in building iconic infrastructure and Infratech assets such as Dunkirk LNG, the largest LNG terminal in continental Europe as well as Tachyum, the leading next-generation AI universal chip company. Prior to co-founding IPM Group, Marian worked at InfraMed Infrastructure, one of the largest emerging market private equity infrastructure funds, and at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the investment arm of the World Bank where he worked on the development and financing of a number of industry-first infrastructure projects (including Tafila, the largest wind farm in the Middle East; Engro Energy, Pakistan’s first IPP project or Enerjisa, Turkey’s largest renewable energy portfolio company). Marian began his career at Lehman Brothers’ Global M&A/Investment Banking team in New York (currently Barclays Capital). Marian holds a bachelor’s in economics from Oberlin College and an MSc in finance from the University of Cambridge in the UK, where he regularly returns as a lecturer and event panellist.
